Message from the Director

Welcome to the McMaster Digital Transformation Research Centre (MDTRC), where we make sense of the digital transformation that is affecting everything we do in our professional, educational, and personal lives. At this innovative facility, we leverage neuroscience tools and techniques to provide us with an understanding of how the use of technology impacts us. We gain a deep understanding of the user experience through the traditional and neurophysiological data we collect. Our goal is to expand knowledge of digital transformation opportunities and challenges to allow researchers to create rich and meaningful user experiences. We hope to collaborate with you soon.

Testimonials

Future Vault logo“On behalf of FutureVault I’d like to thank the entire MDTRC team for their collaboration and support. We approached MDTRC armed with feedback from our customers that we needed to address the usability of several key components of our product.  We had data showing us our customers weren’t using a number of features in our software but needed a partner to help us uncover why. The MDTRC team stepped in to help us draft a test protocol, run usability testing in their state of the art lab and provided key data and insights that was critical to the enhancement of our software.  I can’t stress how pleased FutureVault was with the end to end process, the collaborative nature of the MDTRC team and their help to secure government funding to support this important work.” – Luke Kyleman, former CTO FutureVault
